소리집 소개
소리꾼 구다영의 첫 번째 작은 소리집, [편지].
이 곡은 2022년 5월, 서른(而立)을 앞둔 창작자가 마치 삶으로부터 이립에 들 준비가 되었는지를 시험받기라도 하듯 거센 풍파를 마주하던 시기에 탄생했다.
'탄생'이라는 고귀한 표현보다는 격랑치는 삶의 곡절에서 기어이 흘러나올 수밖에 없었던 곡조라고 하는 편이 더 어울리겠다.
또한 이 곡은 독립영화 [귀향]의 삽입곡 [가시리](은희지)를 우연히 접한 뒤, 오랫동안 귓가에 맴돌던 여운으로부터 영감을 받아 완성되었다.

About the Album
A small Sorijip (single collection)
"Letter" is the first small Sorijip by Korean traditional vocalist (Soriggun) Ku Dayoung.
This work was created in May 2022, during a period when the composer, standing on the threshold of thirty?the age traditionally associated with Irip (而立), or establishing oneself?was confronted with a series of life-changing hardships, as though life itself were testing whether she was truly ready for that milestone.
Yet to say this piece was simply "created" may not fully capture its origin. Rather, it is a melody that inevitably emerged from the turbulence and turning points of life.
The work was also inspired by "Gasiri," performed by Eun Hee-ji for the independent film Spirits' Homecoming, whose lingering resonance remained with the composer long after hearing it.
